DMGQ EARTH DAY CHALLENGE

The Dallas Modern Quilt Guild issued a challenge for the May meeting http://dallasmodernquiltguild.blogspot.com/2011/04/announcing-earth-day-challenge.html

I used a tea towel that I had found:

Here is the 27x27 pillow I made using the top of the tea towel and part of Dream On jelly roll:

Love the colors in this...the tea towel is a yummy linen!

I used so many new techniques in this pillow...free motion quilting, a blind hem seam...it is going with my daughter in the Fall as a floor pillow in her new apartment.
